A Moment in Time

my reflection

I have been learning to use strategies to add detail to my writing. I wrote about a moment in time during my holiday. I used my 5 senses to add detail to my writing. The best part of this was when I thought of the adjectives. My next step is to use 3 adjectives in a row in one of my sentences.

My Pepeha Art

This is my Pepeha Art.  A pepeha is a way of introducing yourself in Maori.  I have included my maunga (mountain), my awa (river, my culture and a place which is special to me.  My favourite part of this was colouring the beach.  I enjoyed doing this art work. 

My Antoynom Diamantie Poem

My Reflection
I have been learning write an antonym Diamante poem. An antonym is a word that means the opposite of the word. A diamante poem is a poem that is in the shape of a diamond. I found this hard because I didn't know what a verb is. My next step is to use more interesting words than this time.
